![]() | Mickey Mouse Revue If the show was updated... would it be relevant to american audiences/patrons/guests today? I personally love AA shows and feel that they are all being replaced with video. Walt Disney pushed for the development of AA technology and think that they should have more of a presence in the parks. Since many people on MC feel that duplicate attractions running at the same type is lazy... what about bringing back an older ride? Although MMR started out at WDW it has not been seen by mass american audiences since 1980. I feel its time to bring it back to the states and let a younger and new generation see the show. I would either like to see it overtake Fantasyland Theater or the Millionaire Soundstage

![]() | Re: Mickey Mouse Revue I agree completely; I think the show could really liven up Paradise Pier, where Mullholland Madness is now... especially if it received some updated AAs. Another good spot might be Toontown. |

![]() | Re: Mickey Mouse Revue Now that Disney's discovered 3D movies, I don't think we'll ever see another animatronic show. Still, it would be nice if they'd disseminate the characters from the show to other rides. They had great looking Alice and Snow White animatronics which could really spruce up their respective rides. And The Three Caballeros desperately need to transfer to Epcot... |

| Sure as you're born ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Mickey Mouse Revue But ending the ride with AAs instead of more video screens would be a definite plussing.

![]() | Re: Mickey Mouse Revue Absolutely bring it back! But, have one in Florida too. There are several redeemable aspects of this attraction (or they wouldn't have boxed it up and shipped it overseas). However, it needs upgrading in include so much more. In fact characters have doubled or tripled since it was first created. Imagine the scenes! I do like the old way of doing AA's though, with exaggerated movements. My first WDW memory at 8 years old was seeing Donald appear on one side of a stage, shooting a gun, and then instantly appearing on the other side. It was magic to me. For years, I could not figure out what attraction it was in, because they removed the ride. Then came youtube, and someone posted the entire show. There was Donald, messing up the show(pre-Philharmagic). The only thing I'd change are some of the characters...I personally thought CInderella looked like a mannequin. Their use of all the 'odd' characters from Disney shorts was unique too. BRING IT BACK...and oh, bring back the buffalo, moose, elk and bear group. If I were king of Disney, I'd have AA's in every attraction. WHo can get enough of them??? They fascinate my nephews and they're 6 and 17. md Last edited by michael darling; 06-17-2009 at 10:28 AM. ![]() | Re: Mickey Mouse Revue MMR has alot of potential for an AA show that can be upgraded... since the stages move around like CBJ did new scenes can be switched out from time to time... also if Toontown ever got expanded - MMR would be the perfect addition... I can just see it now Toontown Opera House Presents Mickey Mouse Revue.
