Question Costume Choices for the Celebrate! parade

I was wondering if anyone had any interviews with the designers of the people who did the costuming for the dancers in Celebrate! I've always wondered why the girl dancers all have there hair in that kinda punky, Alice Cullen way and what was the creative choice for that.

Although I haven't seen any interviews, I'm sure that the parade is meant to show a contemporary feel with some vintage flair. Or at least that is my artistic perception on the parade.

Most dancers have short hair like that to keep it out of their face, so I've heard from my dancing friends. Plus it adds a really spunky, modern, fun flair which is really what the parade is all about.

All of the girls in Celebrate! are actually wearing wigs, which is why the styles are so similar.

Well, I kinda figured that out. I just wondered why it had to be that style.
