Hayley B's 2009 Disneyland Trip Report (6/11-6/15)

Hello Micechatters,

I am Hayley B and I welcome you to my 2009 Disneyland Trip Report. I went there on June 11,2009 to June 15, 2009.

For this Disneyland trip I did accomplish a good deal. First time I got to see the original Haunted Mansion and got the nerve to ride Space Mountain.

Other firsts on this trip. I rode Autopia, Sailing Ship Columbia, & Canoes. I also saw the Aladdin show.

I saw the new Firework Show. I loved seeing Tinker Bell fly around the Castle and seeing Dumbo coming out. Along with the Firework show. I felt very happy & lucky to have been standing in the same spot as Dustyage, Fishbulb, & other MiceChatters on Main Street.

The Sunday Meet was again small for me. Only lasted no less then 3 mins. I had a great time meeting the very few that showed up. It is not a total downer. Since I already did see Dustyage, Fishbulb, & Other Micechatters nights before.

Last day at Disneyland. I took the time to goto the AMC theater. To go see the new Pixar Movie "Up".

Before I start the pictures. I want to give this reminder warning to myself and to lend to other MiceChatters. Do not take pictures while you are on the Canoes. I was trying to take some pictures. I was trying to get some shots of showing that I was actually on the canoes. But when I got up and out of the canoe. My pocket was without a camera. I looked around the Canoe and Cast Members help. But no camera in sight. It sadly must have went into the river. I guess I didn't put it far enough in my pocket. So, I'm typing this for a lesson learned. No taking pictures on the Canoes.

Now on to the pictures. I hope you enjoy my Trip Report.

I stayed at the Del Sol Inn. I got my moneys worth I thought. It's no better then my last years hotel (Tropicana). But they were too nice to me. I can't really bad mouth about Del Sol. It seems Family owned and they were kindly going to offer me coffee. Even after checking out with them.





On my first important stop to Disneyland. I took the time to say hello to Peg Leg Pete.





Then off to the original Haunted Mansion .

Picture of Space Mountain. Again, I finally got the nerve to ride Space Mountain . 1st attempt I actually chicken out. The warnings were scarying me off. Then I told Fishbulb what I did that night . Then he took my scare away. Then I rode Space Mountain the very next morning. Thank you, Fishbulb.



Now, to tear this Trip Report up with pictures of me.




Last thing I made sure to do at Disneyland. Was to say goodbye to Peg Leg Pete.



Then it was back in Delaware. Guess who welcomes me home?

Thanks everyone. Good thing it was a disposable camera. Imagine that I would be really if it was a real bought digital one. I ended up buying the disposable camera that I lost and then I tried to retake some of the pictures I took. I forgotten I took a picture of Seafarer (the Nemo Sub). But that's alright. I taken pictures of Seafarer in past trip reports.

O k, good, it's onlty a disposeable camera, and not the expensive digital camera. Take a lot of pics on the disposeable, or any good ones?

Again, so sorry for the loss of your camera. You seem to be a lady of great resilience, though, since you seemingly were able to bounce back quite nicely indeed!

Great TR Hayley B! Sorry about the camera. I recently lost my 3-year old Sony CyberShot with the burnt-out flash.
