I'm sorry, I wasn't specific enough. The main traveling theme for Celebrate! is "Pumpin' Up The Party," a song originated by Miley/Hannah but just re-performed by whatever chorus singers Disney uses to record their in park music (as mentioned by MonstersGB)

I only mentioned the C! live Performers because if one were to go beserk in the middle of a performance, they would probably be the ones getting beaned by an irate Guest.

Sidebar: Haha, I hope Jack in the Box never gets rid of those vertically challenged cowboys... they bring me so much joy! Chelsea Handler should have them on her show!! Chuy could join in the fun... Oh, sorry. I've gone off the rail there

Re: Does anyone else have a problem with this?

I am so lost!!! For First off Disney and Hannah = $$$$$ So of course Disney is going to promote the parks with party atmosphere is in it Celebrate Today. I do not understand the crying or the bashing of Miley Cyrus it just a commercial to get Southern Californians in to the parks. My god my friends loved the commercial because it show all the great things that Disneyland has to offer. Im not a fan of Miley Cyrus but we do have to realize that she is famous little girls scream and that promotes the park. I really like the the commercial it promotes great family entertainment at it best. The only problem now is that the parks are going to be busy but we can handle it. Many people are bashing Miley Cyrus OK you go ahead and do that but we can all say that she is famous and Disney will promote her in any way they can. Has anyone been to the park when opening happens Corben Bleu song Celebrate is played around the park. It is time to Celebrate not bash. Everyone has right to thier opinion but please understand it is Money we are talking about and Disney made a great commercial and trying to get people to visit the park in a HARSH ECONOMY. As far as I know the commercial is doing it job and we will see how it plays out.
    I'm back and now what!

Exactly. As I was saying to myself just the other day, if anything makes me feel the Magic of Disneyland more than Miley Cyrus, it's big heaping wads o' Money.

I wish I understood what Miley did that spurred all of this hate, other than that photo "scandal" that wasn't a huge deal, but then I remembered what this forum is like with everything else...

No, I don't have a problem with it.

Miley's racy pictures aren't that big of a deal, IMO. It's not like she was stealing candy from a baby or kicking puppies in them.

    To wrap this all up...

I understand what all of you are saying, and I do realize that her song and image is aimed at the 5-13 year-old generation and will bring families to come and visit which I realize does mean a lot of money. However, I have a big problem with that and wish that they could have put in another song. Hey, what ever happened to the old song that they used to have, the one that they used from the 2003 remake of Peter Pan? That song always made me tear up (in a good way).

    yippeeyiyayminisirloinburgers!!!

I saw a Nightastic ad on tv tonight and if that's the one that the original poster was referring to, the song isn't all that bad.

Like the dace of a person getting older, Disneyland changes. New songs and themes are natural.
If they only could tear down 50% of the old rides and make new ones that reflect todays technological possibilities Disneyland could be even better. The same tunes over and over does not portray the imagination that Disney stands for.

Who in the heck agreed to have her song on there?! Just because she's on Disney Channel and had her birthday there DOES NOT mean that she has the right to have her song advertise the park! That really rubs me the wrong way. I honestly believe that she makes Disney look cheap.

Does anyone else have a problem with this?
Miley Cyrus made a Disneyland commercial and put her own song in it? What an outrage!!!!111!!!one

Um, she's making the Disney company a ton of money, so Disneyland can still exist during this economic downturn. Cyrus's fanbase will see this and demand to go to Disneyland.
You have only a few options. You can stop going to Disneyland and stop buying Disney products. Or, you can put the bat down.

Or, you can have the bat whittled down into ten dozen pair of custom earplugs that you can share with those of us DL fans who think Miley Cyrus belongs in Disneyland like Johnny Depp belongs in Pirates of the Cari... er, I mean, like Nemo the fish and his cartoon pals belong in the Subma... <ahem!> ...sorry, I meant like Tarzan belongs in the Swiss Family Tree...

    *sigh*

    ...like Stitch in Small World?
