Good place to see fireworks from DCA?

Hey all! Im going to see the Electrical Parade at DCA with my family this coming Sunday June 21. If I remember right, the fireworks show at the Park starts somewhere around 930. Since Ill be with my parents, who dont move terribly fast, is there a spot in DCA that is good to see the fireworks from? Yes , I know we wont see the lower effects and what have you, but just wanted to see if there is a spot thats good over at DCA
Oh, we're eating dinner at the Wine Co Trattoria to view the parade...so any suggestions would be awesome. Cheers all!

I watched them from in front of World of Disney a few days ago. You can't see the lower level effects or hear the music, but you could easily see all the up-in-the-air fireworks.

Right in front of TSMM, there are benches that look out into the lagoon. If you let security know that you just want to watch the fireworks real quick, hopefully they'll let you stay over there until they're over. I've done this before and it was really neat.

Agree with TSMM area. It looks even better when there is water in the lake, to see the reflections. There is a pretty unobstructed view from there. Also good is with the Golden Gate Bridge in the foreground, just before the exit (Sun Plaza). The Esplanade works well, especially since they sometimes play the sound track there, too, and you won't get kicked out with the earlier closing time of DCA.

Thats an excellent spot! I was walking through that area last Monday and they actually had the music pumped through.

If you want to try and avoid crowds, try to hang around in front of Midway Mania, as some have said. I don't think they try to make you leave the area till after the fireworks. Usually Mania still has a decent line at closing, also. Another great spot is in the Sunshine Plaza in front of the fountain area. The fireworks will be in between the Golden Gate Bridge towers.

The Esplanade is a good spot, but it is usually quite crowded out there and you will likely have people constantly walking in front of you as they exit DCA and head to Disneyland.

I have to agree with the esplanade. The view was good and you could hear the soundtrack. Be prepared for the mass exodus from DCA. And while you're standing in the esplanade, you will be thanking your lucky stars that you are not trying to get in Disneyland....It's pretty insane

Doesn't DCA stay open until 10 PM on Sunday, 6/21? I hope they wouldn't attempt to kick people out before then.

Great spot, but many vistors will want to exit DCA to watch Fantasmic! Just look out for stollers when walking to DCA to the esplanade.
