    Peter Pan Now Fits Four?!?!

It's been alluded that Pan now fits four across after the refurb, is that true? I believe they're the same ride vehicles, so how is they can now fit four adults across? It's great news if it's true as it would make the ride a speedier load.

We rode Peter Pan on Monday the 15th, and I can verify that the boats do not hold 4 adults. Our party of two adults and two children were split into two boats, same as always. I didn't notice any change in the capacity of the boats, but I'm no expert.

Re: Peter Pan Now Fits Four?!?!

During our week-long trip to the Resort last week, we enjoyed Peter's ride four times.

We did not notice ANY difference in the width of the "new" boats.

Yes, the railing is different and there is some new non-skid material on the deck, but other than that and the shiney new paint job, we couldn't tell any difference.

We did see a family of four get off one of the boats. They were two avg sized adults and two small kids about 5 to 6 years old. There didn't appear to be ANY room left to spare.

If two behemeths got on the ride, there wouldn't be any room left over for a Happy Meal box!

    But "perception" does become reality...

Yeah, probably just 4 small people. I'm sure it wouldnt fit 4 normal size adults.

But the seven dwarfs could ride in 1.75 boats.

I was there in April and it most definitely would not hold 4.

This change just occurred with the latest rehab that finished up something like last week or so.

Peter Pan has new boats. The new boats will not hold four adults, they will hold two adults and two children.

You need to be two slim and fit adults, and two small children. If you are overweight with big kids, the CM is going to make the split second decision to split you up. The new boats aren't any bigger, but they can hold more weight. With the old boats, even a slender family of four would have been split into two boats.

Now at least the CM's can allow slender people to put more than two people in the boat. And that usually means slender mom and dad, with two small children.

Not trying to be a wise guy, but what about three slim adults? Any increase in Pan capacity is welcome, and since my family is four (two slim adults and two little kids), this is welcome news.

    ^^^^^^

Three slim adults could fit before the so-called refurb.

Here's the breakdown. We can load a max of four but only if that 4 is a party of 2 adults and 2 kids or 1 adult and 3 kids. Adults are still held at a max of 3. This prevents families from having be broken up.

In theory, a boat could fit more than 2...it just depends on how big the people are.

No, they cannot hold four. They're about doombuggie-sized now.
