But I would imagine that at this point, he really wouldn't spend much effort trying to "save" it...



And does it really need to be saved? I thought the recent lengthy thread about it closing was just based on a rumor and/or speculation?

Steve Martin worked for the Merlin's Magic Shop which was owned by brothers and their partners who also ran the Magic Land shop in DLH and the Main Street Magic shop.

The only connections of Steve Martin to the Main Street Magic shop are that they both were magic shops, both were in Disneyland, and both were run by the same three man. I have posted this elsewhere with links showing who the brothers were and the history behind the magic shops of Disneyland.
