Re: Can we make a list of hidden things that first timers don't know about...

I actually have something for this, but I am not sure if it interests anyone.

We went in May on our first trip to DL together. My fiancee, Kyle, hadn't been since 1979 (he was 4!!!

Anyhoo, the one thing that jumped out at him, that we had never read or heard of anywhere before our trip was on the Indiana Jones Ride.

    The taillights on the vehicles??

Those are actually from a 1930's Ford

Whether they are originals or replicas, they are the same tail lights.

Kyle is a HUGE 30's car buff, we have two from 1930, a 1931 and a 1932, plus a crazy amount of 30's car parts. If anyone could spot something like that and be accurate, it is him

I thought it was kind of neat. And he was really excited

We absolutly fell in love with the old-time feel of so much of DL. Can't wait to go back.

On the contrary, that's good for theming. There's nothing crazy about putting things partially underground, which is why most large-scale buildings and even many residences have basements--it's an extremely common practice. Where do you think you drop into when you go down not one but two drops in Pirates of the Caribbean?

On Indiana Jones when there's a sign that says don't touch, that means touch, also the bamboo thing that you can shake makes the ceiling lower.

Heres one, its idk if its hidden, but at night disneyland releases their pet cats all throughout the park to take care of certain rodent problems....scaring em off what not. This is true i've seen them before i went up to a cast member...it was at the end of the day and i said i think some cats snuck in over there by indiana jones right by the old run down car. Two orange cats. and he said that those are pets they have names like tigger from tomorrow land and stuff like that and they release em everynight. i thought that was a cool fact.
