    Disneyland Attraction Mix-up

Disneyland has many memorable attractions, and each one is located in a memorable land, in a memorable spot. Pirates is in New Orleans Square, and fits there. Space Mountain resides in Tomorrowland. Thunder Mountain has its home in Frontierland. So, I thought this would be a fun idea: Take a current Disneyland attraction, and place it in a different land where it doesn't exactly fit. Describe it, and what it would be like.

I would put the Subs in Tomorrowland instead of it being in Fantasyland because Submarines really don't represent a future technology and.... oh wait, you mean it already IS in Tomorrowland??

The Haunted Mansion can go just about anywhere (and it has). Next time they should put it on Main Street, with appropriate architecture, but the same stuff (or different stuff) on the inside. Perhaps the trackless version that is rumored for HKDL.

As much as I realize this is a hypothetical "fun" experiment I keep seeing the real life applications that have already taken place. Pooh in Critter, Buzz in Tomorrow, Tarzan in Treehouse, Nemo in Subs... most of DCA... I find it interesting that the shoehorning that we see as "fun" WDI has already applied as a not so viable solution to a lack of creativity!

I would say take Goofy's Sky School out of Paradise Pier where it fits and put it in Condor Flats where it... where it... wait a minute it fits better, nevermind!

i agree..its hard to put something somewhere else if it already makes no sense at all in the first place..like the little mermaid ride going in dca... as long as we are transplanting the park why not take big thunder and put it in the holly wood backlot..why? because we can...

I think that everyone might have misunderstood. I meant for everyone to take an attraction, and put it in a land where it doesn't fit AT ALL. Example: Pirates of the Caribbean in Tomorrowland.

They could always "move" the Matterhorn back to Tomorrowland.

I think that the Imagineers must have all gone to see the Wild Wild West movie and walked out of the theater highly inspired. "I loved the TV show, and this was nothing like it! Pure genius!" raved one Imagineer before falling down (that's what he gets for chewing gum at the same time).

I agree. That's because you and I are so predictable--we're squares, you know. Putting Goofy's Sky School in Condor Flats--tell me, where is the genius in that suggestion? Even an idiot could figure that out, and nobody at WDI wants to be an idiot...er...I'm done!
