Summer Fun Pass Question

I'm 16 and I go to DLR every summer when we visit our relatives in LA. Typically, my parents drop my 14 year old brother and I at the park in the morning and pick us up around nightime. I know the Summer Fun Pass is only available to SoCal, but I was wondering if I could have a relative buy the tickets for us. Would they be less likely to check ID since we are minors? And would it work if the relative comes to the turnstiles to show their ID? I don't need any rants or lessons on cheating the system because money is tight right now and $99 looks better than $179.

I am a so-cal resident and I just got the summer fun pass and just buy them at a vons or other grocery store and show up. They don't check ID at the park if you go really early for rope drop I don't know about later. Have fun.

FYI the cards you buy at vons are a little too big to fit into the fastpass machine so just slowly force it in and be careful not to break your card and it should work.

Yeah they don't check ID's, you just can't buy them anywehre outside of SoCal.

Since you are both minors, you can use the SoCal passes if a SoCal-resident purchases them for you.

And people who say they don't check ID's are absolutely wrong. While they do not always check ID, Disneyland has significantly stepped up random ID checking this year because of the heavy publicity for the promotion.

Minors, however, will not have IDs checked.

Minors will not have ID checked if Relative is it Guardian for the moment but there has been a MASSIVE check on IDs
