Okay, so are the posters alongside the eastern PP entrance going to be replaced? Most still have the Pedofile Wheel and Industrial Mickey on them....

Dang... It looks a lot better with the spotlight. I hope they get it fixed soon.

I saw in the model they were lower down, and there were indeed more of them, too.

What's FunLand? Is that what they're renaming Paradise Pier?

If so that's not a very well thought-out name... just like Cars Land.

Come on! Name it Route 66 or Radiator Springs! Anything but Cars Land.

The posts by Screamin are single post which means they would have to be poured one by one besides from the look of it those post are just the start of something else.

They wouldn't rename the area funland now because I think they solidified the Paradise Pier name with the giant sign on California Screamin.

There was never intension to change the pier's name.

    The concept art was merely
focusing on the World of Color viewing area.

Not the altered name of the pier.

Im going to say this again but California Adventure needs original rides. Cars land Im sure will be awesome, but can we stop the Pixar and movie based rides please. Just my opinion though. It just seems like all the newest rides that DCA have are Pixar. Yeah they are totally fun but I would come up with something more creative.
Anyways...how is that ugly orange looking? Is the blasted thing gone yet? haha

Rising how? You mean from ground level to an elevated height or from below ground to ground level, a la Tomorrowland Terrace?

Theyre going to be putting those wooden "piers" along the beginning of Screamin's launch too.

Was the reason the fun wheel boardwalk not put in because there wasn't room due to World of Color? Or was it budget cuts?

It's looking more like there just wasn't room. Maybe a combination.
