Wow! That was quick! So, any news on a new Hyperion show or ANYTHING in the Hollywood area?

Let's hope that smell lasts before some spoilsport brings up the wraparound boardwalk again.

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker VI

I don't see why the wrap around boardwalk was cancelled! There is not one good reason. We would much rather take less away from TLM and carsland to put in a wraparound boardwalk. This is not fair!

I kid, I kid.

Anyway, waahoo for Tracker VI

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker VI

Very interesting.

For those interested, in the Blue Sky Disney
blog site, Honor comments on the Hong Kong Disneyland
expansion entry on how the audio-animatronic bears
were suppose to be originally part of Grizzly Peak when the park
first opened to the public in 2001.

But because of budget cuts, it did not happen.

Not only that but the audio-animatronic bears were
going to part of the first phase of the park expansion as well.

Maybe when and if phase 2 happens, these
additions will follow.

^ Yeah, looks like WDI recycled a lot of their old DCA ideas for the HKDL expansion.

Now that HKD is getting Grizzly Rapids with AA Bears, I wonder if that means they can clone it for DCA too. Maybe with the recylce Country Bears too. That would make sense. I wonder if their version of the Haunted Mansion, Mystic Mansion's trackless technology will play into DCA's future as well. Exciting stuff going on.

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker VI

27 post and most have nothing to do with the actual construction. LOL

So has anyone seen the work being done to the black concrete box next to the sand dune area near the Zephyr?

The rockwork supports seem to be getting installed and it is starting to look like it might be added to more than just the box. Maybe there might be some added to the edge of the sand barrier.

I'm hoping it is added in more than just edges. The sand and plants are cool and great and all, but when there is then a concrete edge, it really ruins the illusion. Rockwork and such will go a long way to making it feel much more light a seaside pier.

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker VI

I passed by b4 my shift started yesterday (Cool thing about working PP) they have installed the supports for the Lighthouse towers that will contain the projectors and the boxes around the extension are starting to receive stonework(?) of some sort.
