Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker VI

Looking at the Steve Davidson video, during the Sprite - Pocahontas storyboard scene, I have to say that I'm already in love with the music, especially "Colors of the Wind", which is fantastic considering it was done using synthesizers.

If that was done with synthesizers... then just imagine what the full orchestra music will sound like when this show premieres.

Oh, I'm so excited... is it March 2010 yet?

I agree. Disney would be mighty stupid to not release the soundtrack.

Hey, if they can release the Fantasmic soundtrack, then I bet they'll release the World of Color soundtrack.

Also the updated Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion audio tracts.

It looks like they have started the demolition on the Circle of Hands Theater.

They always add minor elements in models like this to give others that are not familiar with the project a sense of what area they are talking about.
I believe the model actually does show the tiered levels for wheelchair access. The bottom viewing area closest to the water has wheelchair access on the west end. The other tiered sections have the wheelchair access on the east end facing the Mermaid dome. There is also the main entrance to the park like viewing area which will be directly in front of the Mermaid attraction. That entrance is suppose to be leveled to the parade route to allow easy access into most of the area.
I was merely stating that there was no blue bridge. It was sort of a joke as some people see something in a model or picture and assume wrongly. Yes it will be the existing bridge up to Ariel's Grotto and on toward the boardwalk.

Actually the model is wrong as it clearly shows stairs on both sides coming down from the "parade route". If you go down there you can see the bottom ramp in place already. Ot leads from the main walkway down to the lowest level. I am not sure what is next but there is a lot of work left on that viewing area. The model is not wheelchair friendly as in the disabled being able to get to the water edge.

    Monorail
At WDW anyone can take a monorail to Epcot or TTC. That is because no admission fee is required at any spot a person gets off the monorail.

If Disneyland added a stop at DCA then how would they make sure that guests getting on would get off at the right park with a one park ticket. Currently either passengers are currently guests in Disneyland or have to provide an admision medium of some sort. A second park would mean a person could use a one day ticked into Disneyland then they hop to DCA but how do you keep them out of DCA or vice versus?

From what I could see there was not much on Cars Land or the Buena Vista updates. What is interesting is that they have a huge map to your right in the viewing area. The area where the winery is has scorcerer Mickey and large and small building but it does not look like the winery. There is not San Francisco on that map either.

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker VI

In Steven's presentation video, he mentions that Mark Hammond is doing the music for WoC. This has me incredibly excited, as he composed/arranged the music for PoD and TDL's Jubilation. Jubilation is for me perhaps the most brilliant parade score I've ever heard, second only to Tapestry of Nations. The "techno"ish version of the main theme that most here seem to hate actually sounds similar to a version if the TDL 25th Anniversary theme song that was put on the Jubilation CD (same singer even I think). As far as I know, that version was never really used for anything, though I thought perhaps it was meant to be show stop music before they opted for the HSM song. This version of WoC seems very suited for exit music as has been said.
