I agree, the flats work in the backlot setting, but I think they could have been done SO much better. It looks like a high school theater production, and not a good one of those at that. They are too cartoon-y... to much like the opening credits of the movie. They should be more like the actual shots in the movie, especially for a ride that is going to TAKE you into Monstropolis. Given that fact, they shouldn't use doors at all on the exterior, but as has been mentioned, use the city skyline. But this is a nother topic for another thread.

    My thoughts exactly.

But this is a nother topic for another thread.
    Indubitably.

That's okay, but what matters is do you think of Missouri as being in the midwest?

    I'm surprised this wasn't mentioned,
    but the original restrooms that
were located within the San Francisco
    street was demolished.

All that lies is the concrete foundation.
Keep in mind, the photo was taken two
    days ago.

^^boy33 had pics of it a few days ago morning after they knocked it down. Still had piles of rubble. This is slightly different in that the rubble has been cleared and all that's left is the concrete pad.

It was. Boy33 took a photo and put it on his Twitter account. Then I copied it to display it here in the Tracker.

I agree with you that it was a bad decision to release the movie during the summer but there was a reason for that and it was not all because of Disney.

from what i understand Walden which was co-financing the Narnia movies also thought they had a big holiday movie coming out and they did not want to give themselves competition. After talks with disney they felt that the Narnia movie was strong enough to succeed during the summer. Sadly it did not because of the tight summer schedule. Oh by the way that Walden movie bombed as well the movie was "the water horse"
