AP hotel rates

Hi. I was just wondering if anyone could explain the AP hotel rates. What do the different numbers mean? I looked up the AP rates on the Disneyland site, I didn't see rates that have any numbers with it. And, for the time I want to book a hotel, the end of September for concierge, the Disneyland hotel was more expensive then the Grand Californian. Isn't the Disneyland hotel usually like $20 more then the Paradise Pier? It was like in the $400 range, while Paradise Pier is $189. Also, will there most likely be a better rate if I wait until it's closer to the date I want to go?

AP rates are subject to availablilty.

We have 2 rooms booked at the DLH for the D23 convention and the Haunted Mansion Event that are AP rates plus $40 for concierge, but then again, we booked them earlier this year.

Oh, and forget doing reservations thru the site.

Do it "old school" (hehe) and let your fingers do the walking. It is always better talking with a real person vs online.

And I'd make at least three phone calls asking about the rates.

Where do you see the codes? I always see the rate they are offering for each hotel/room level.

Typically, they are in numerical order as they offer the special rates.

AP1
AP2
Ap3
etc...

Each one has its own special rates and dates.
