Old Submarine Voyage props being moved to Hong Kong?

For those of you who have seen the art for the new land at Hong Kong Disney "Mystic Point" it seems like alot of the statues and props are from the original Submarine Voyage ride at Disneyland. You can see the atlantean statues and some other props in the art.

That's highly improbable because most of the major original pieces are privately owned by people like Kraft and Stamos. Some of the original little props are still in use. Most of the original props, however, were trashed

Well they were originally going to reuse the Atlantis set pieces in the new Submarine Voyage but Lasseter said no and instead created a new set of ruins and statues for the beginning of the ride. So we know Disney still has the atlantis ruins and in the art in the middle you can see a bunch of statues and one of them looks just like the Zeus head statue from the ride.

So you think they're going to ship a giant concrete statue head across the ocean instead of just having one made on site in a country where it's super cheap to make ANYTHING?

Then why are they shipping all the props from Disney World's Adventurers Club to the new one in HKDL??

They might ship them or they might be inspired by them.

Remember that Disney is a very large complicated company and one unit can "sell" assets is has to another unit and if Hong Kong is picking up part of the tab that might make sense.
