Security and Injuries

This is a bittersweet Guest Relation.

Tonight I injured myself at Disneyland (sprained my ankle). My brother and his friend went to First Aid, got a RN and a security guard who were very respectful and helpful. Time came to head on home, and a new security guard came and carted me to the Front Gates, he was very funny and made me feel better . After that, I was given to yet another security guard, and she helped me to the trams. Now, no one really explained to me how an ankle or leg injury worked at Disneyland, but I was not able to walk or stand on my left leg whatsoever (and I made this clear to both the RN and the first security guard). Well, the tram comes to take me to Timon, and I was pretty much told that security was not able to help me to my car via a wheelchair and if I needed help to my car I had to let a tram person or someone know. We get to the Timon lot, my car wasn't too far, but it would've taken a while to get there with my brother and his friend helping me "walk". My brother's friend decided to go get the security car that roams around the lot just to take me to my car because I was already in enough pain.

The security guard was extremely rude. He told my brother's friend to MOVE so he can turn the car around. He didn't really acknowledge my existence, didn't offer to help me into/out of the car, and when I got into the car he said, "Ya know, they have First Aid for a reason." I explained to him that we went to First Aid and was told that they couldn't help us to my car.

Just a little suggestion if anyone in First Aid/Security is reading this, please make it a little more clear on how exiting procedure works for those with injuries that prevent them from walking properly who parked in the Mickey & Friends/Timon/Pumbaa/Simba parking lots. It was a very stressful and painful night, and having a security guard be sarcastic and rude to me did not help whatsoever.

Thank you!
