I agree, those are some great shots. What type of camera and lenses are you shooting with?

However, this photo is of one of my favorite arcade items that Disneyland has to offer... Yes, I had the pleasure of using this machine, and yes, I went all the way to 225!
Reminds me of when I lived in Germany and the carnivals that would stop in our town had these machines. My friends and I would hold hands, with one persons hand on one handle, and another person on the other handle - Oh what feeling of sharing a shock with 6-10 people!
Ahhh, memories...

A variety over these pictures. i've used all Canons (SD1100, G7, G9, Rebel XT, 40D). The DSLRs with a few lenses. The primary ones i use are my 28-135mm 3.5 IS and 28mm 1.8. Whenever i rent lenses for something (like Coachella), i'll bring it to the parks to give them a test drive. i also have a wide lens adapter for the G9. i got it because the 9 didn't have the wider lens the 7 had. Technology bummer would come a few months later when the 10 came out with a wider lens (doesn't that always happen when you buy something?) For the smaller cameras i love using my Joby Gorillapod.
And Angelica, i am a big fan of the pop you get from a picture when you tweak the saturation and contrast. Over the past couple of years i have become a bigger fan of the editing than the picture taking (almost). Some think that's not "pure", but i go with the view of your editing software as the current dark room. i'm just using iphoto for that, but want to expand.
Here's a few more that i had up on tubes of the net:

Unfortunately this guy is one my only friends with a pass who can just up and go whenever the urge to visit the park comes about. Everyone else needs a plan.

What i'm hoping to do is scan some old school ones from the photo albums, but that will be a while because of stated stuff before, werk and the upcoming trip to Europe.

cool.
Re: my Disneyland and stuff photo album
Ivankay - Those are some incredible shots, and welcome to Micechat. :) I love the twilight shots, and the Fantasyland fireworks shot is my favorite. I love how the light reflects off of the bricks. Is it still possible to get a shot like that? I've never been over on that side during fireworks before. Where do they block it off? Is it still behind the carosel?
Thanks again. I do hope you decide to stick around and post many, many more shots.
Re: my Disneyland and stuff photo album
i'm not sure about current access. i was back there as recently as 2008. The roping allowed a walkway from the Storybook/Alice side to the Big Thunder Trail. i think i may have seen the fireworks from everywhere (well, not Toon Town) in the park over the years. i wish they had digital photography for the masses during my favorite fireworks viewing ever in the 80's. Short version: Peoplemover broke down and we were over Autopia. CM (who was my neighbor) guided us along the track back to the TL Skyway roof while the fireworks were going. i don't think that can ever be beat for me.
i of course am a serious advocate of bringing back the Peoplemover.
