Anyone seen the talking trash can lately?

I last saw him in DCA about a year ago. He said Happy Birthday to a girl eating a churro and then suggested she throw it away. This was the first and only time I've seen him. I imagine he's radio controlled somehow and equipped with a camera. It doesn't seem anyone would fit inside him unless they were absolutely tiny and cramped up inside him. So anyone seen him as of late or know what happened to him? I thought he was amusing and have been hoping to spot him in my recent trips.

PUSH has a handler who is only a few feet away from him that controls him and does the talking. He can easily spot if you know what to look for. There are some awesome handlers that would only be about 10 feet away and still people won't realize he's there. I saw PUSH a few weeks ago. A friend of mine talked to one of his handlers and supposedly he's either being "canned" or just on hiatus. Don't know which one though . Either way, it's sad.

I saw Push just last weekend.... and yup, along with his handler standing right behind him. He SERIOUSLY needs to get a lesson on stealth.

Saw and got about 3 min or so of him on video about 2 months ago. I'll post it soon. Hilarious.

That's cool to know. Is there a specific timeframe he's out and about or is it just pretty random? I think when I saw him it was around noon or so if I remember correctly.

It would be more helpful if you all mentioned where you saw PUSH. He can be just about anywhere in Disneyland or DCA as different area trashcans.

We were lucky enough to see PUSH back at the beginning of May. He was in DCA by the big construction wall close to the Zephyr. My 12 year old son had no idea that there was a handler. It was very fun to sit back and just watch the magic happen. There was the cutest little girl, maybe 5 years old, just checking PUSH out - trying to figure out how he got in there. So much fun. This is only the third time in all of my visits to the DLR that I have been fortunate enough to witness the magic of PUSH! So glad we happened upon him.

Thanks for posting that, Ortizmo. Didn't know he's white now unless he's being produced for different areas now rather than just for the Grizzly Peak area (where I saw him and where pretty much all the YouTube videos show him around).

PUSH is great. We saw him back in June near the Tortilla Factory at DCA.

I agree with the above poster, the most fun is to watch the kids react and let the magic happen. My 10 and 6 year old love finding any scrap of trash around to feed PUSH.

you're welcome...and you bring up an interesting point. Is there more than one? Or are they just using a different shell for the main mechanism depending on where they want to use him that day? Anyone?

That blows. Now that was innovative thinking. Something to roam the parks other than a silent Disney character that can truly interact with the guests and make the simple mundane task of walking to the next attraction into something fun and unexpected.

What did they need the extra money for? That High School Musical trainwreck?
