It fills up at park open and stays crowded until park close. If you want to ride it with no waiting, get there at rope drop and make a bee line to it. We walked on last month by doing this, but that's an awful lot of trouble for just 1 ride. We blew out Fantasyland in the first half hour. But I swear 10 mins after rope drop it filled up and stayed full ALLLLL day.
Yes, this line is ALWAYS crowded!! But the ride is cool... You know, I think that the bigger boats that allow 4 people to ride actually help in moving the line along faster. Last time I rode, the line was the traditional long line but it kept moving along nicely instead of the usual standing in one place for so long... (which can be maddening!!)

I'd ride it more if there weren't so many rotten people in the way. Typically the other three get my love because I can't talk the misses into waiting that long for peter.
Flying into neverland just make you feel all warm and fuzzy like your a little kid again. All the classic dark rides do that for me but I do think Peter does it best.
Have they switched over to bigger 4-person boats?? I hope so. That would be GREAT!Quote:

with the popularity of tink being what it is..thats a factor right there,the ride now has bigger boats so that helps a little bit not much. as to the ride it self..the whole flying over the city thing is awesome.. the rest of it is just ok in my opinion, the other fantasy land dark rides are better in this order to me..snow white, mr toad,alice, pinochio, pan. i dont know why i m not a pan fan i guess i like my dark rides...well....scarier then most....
Haven't been to DL in a loooong time but I'm at MK in WDW a lot and it's always long (which is great if you love the polka music coming from Pinocchio's Village Haus). Average wait this time of year is 45-50 minutes. If you don't ride it in the first 45 minutes after rope drop, you're going to have to waste a FP on it.

Oh, and to answer the Peter Pan attraction, its because it's the BESTEST one in Fantasyland!!! :) I love that ride!!!
Pretty much everyone loves the story of Peter Pan, and the fact that you get to "fly" in a pirate ship doesn't hurt ;)
My only complaint that for how long one has to wait for that ride, it's way too short.
