When my husband and I visit Disneyland without our 9 year old daughter, it's often NOT all about RIDE RIDE RIDE! We like to relax and just enjoy certain specific yet little not-so-popular or obscure things around the Resort.
-Getting a drink at the pool bar at the Grand Californian and enjoying it at the White Water Snacks outside seating area, right where the Miner 49ers often play on the other side in DCA. That is pure heaven.
-Playing with the remote-controlled Jungle Cruise boats over at the Lost Bar at the Disneyland Hotel, then taking a stroll around the rose garden, and going under the waterfalls.
-Sitting over on Tom Sawyer Island by the Fantasmic! area and watching all the world go by.
-Walking behind the Harbour Galley.
-Feeding the ducks by the Hungry Bear bathrooms.
-Riding the train all the way around the park, disembarking where we started.
-Taking our sweet time walking through the Haunted Mansion after exiting the stretching room before boarding a Doom Buggy.
-Watching the Flag Retreat Ceremony.
-Walking around the Redwood Creek Trail at night.
-Enjoying the movie clips in the Animation Building; then learning to draw a character at the Animation Academy.
-Sitting on one of the few little porches or staircases on Main Street eating a raspberry white chocolate chip cookie (drool!).
-Petting every goat at the Big Thunder Ranch. My husband and Molly have a crush on each other!
So, what about you MiceChatters? What silly little things do you like to do when relaxing at the parks?
