| Re: Weird Al sings about the Jungle Cruise As a long time fan of Weird Al, I gotta say this particular one is a miss for me. When it started playing, I expected it to evolve into a parody of a JC skip who, with dreams of being a great movie actor and frustrated that JC is the only gig he can get, goes outrageously OG in his spiel (maybe doing his spiel as different classical movie actors). Things go from wacky to wackier, he terrifies the hell out of his crew (or screws up in some other comical Weird Al style) and gets fired for his efforts. Instead I got a one-beat story of "I'm bored on the JC and feeling sorry for myself." Even the montage with the JC spiel voiceovers, which had all kinds of potential for gags, wasn't funny. Sorry, Al -- this one's kinda flatline. Great premise, great setup, but doesn't go anywhere comedically.
