Question Dole Whip OR Dole Whip Float?

Hey Dole Whip lovers! I need your help

I'm a huge DL fan and avid micechat reader. I'm moving to the OC this fall for school and am planning to celebrate my birthday at the Happiest Place On Earth. I have NEVER had a Dole Whip and have heard so much about them on this site that I am going to treat myself to one when I go for my birthday. But I would like to know: Which kind should I get?

    Thanks Micechatters!
    -Mickeylover

PS: I'm also planning to get my annual pass (yippee!) when I go for my birthday. Is it true that you can put the credit of your free birthday pass toward an annual pass?

I prefer the whip only. The pineapple juice below the whip doesn't add much. IMO.

Whip. Too much pineapple = baaaaaad.

Don't know if you can apply the free ticket toward the purchase of an AP. But what I think you should do is buy your AP in advance, so on your birthday you'll get a gift card to use at the park. You can keep buying yourself birthday presents all day long!

Float. And if I'm at the Magic Kingdom a float with pineapple-vanilla swirl.

Thanks guys! Looks like the majority vote is just the whip. Maybe I'll try the float in the future too, just to see what I like better.
Has anybody ever actually used their birthday pass towards the AP? It'd be good to hear from someone who's actually done it.

While the Whip Float does seem like too much pineapple, there's something about it that I can't resist. Maybe it's just the fact that I find it easier to walk and drink instead of walking and eating.

I'm another fan of the whip by itself. The float is just too much.

Whip. I've only had the float once-- not for me.

I like both... so I get whatever I'm in the mood for. Try the whip first, then you can always try the float another time.

I just talked to my good friend Devo, and I think he said it best:

Go forward. Get ahead. It's not too late. To "Whip" it. "Whip" it good!
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Re: Dole Whip OR Dole Whip Float?

I love the float, if I have the cash for it! the juice is a bit more tart, while the whip is subtle and sweet, and i like the combo.

you absolutely CAN apply the value of your birthday pass towards an Annual Pass. (it's $69 btw). You just tell them it's you're birthday and you want the free admission to Disneyland, and that you'd like to UPGRADE to whatever annual pass you want to get. The birthday admission is upgradable to any other ticket media that you could normally buy.

It appears I'm outnumbered, but I say go for the float!

You get whip PLUS delicious pineapple juice, you can't go wrong!
