    DL Traditions! :D

Most of us here have'em. Lets hear'em! Whether it be ride order, where to take pictures, fave eating spot, something you always gotta buy...etc.

It has to be something you do everytime you go.

    For me:

Ride Pirates & Mansion 1st (in that order)
    Ride Dumbo Last

    (Previous Tradition)
Eat Fries from the Mickey Deez Fry Cart in Frontierland as a late night snack after riding BTMRR

    ^I miss that one :'(

So guys & gals...what is it for you??

    Re: DL Traditions! :D

The only real tradition I have is going in the right tunnel and exiting out the left tunnel. I've always done it that way. Other than that, I don't really have any now that I have an AP. We like to mix it up and do different things every trip.

When I was younger, the first ride of the day always had to be Splash Mountain.

    Re: DL Traditions! :D

The major tradition that my family started 13 years ago was to take a five day long vacation to any Disney park in early December. Last year we went to WDW for the first time and it was in December. And this December we are going on a Disney Cruise. We got to Disneyland a lot, but the only time we got for five days is in early December. We also started going to the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party every year

Breakfast at the River Belle Terrace at least once per trip.

Also, this one is more habbit than tradition but I usually explore the park clockwise starting in Adventureland since that is the way the old guide booklets from the 80's were laid out (It's also why breakfast at RBT happened since it is located in the beginning of the circle). The first attraction of every trip has been almost always the treehouse (since it's entrance is right outside the exit of RBT) followed by pirates.

I would say eating at the bakery first and then strolling clockwise Indy first!

No traditions just yet on my end. I'm still relatively new to the park since I've only been going for two years, so maybe someday I'll get into more of a habit of doing certain things. I like mixing it up, though.

I also like to mix it up a lot. Pirates is usually my first ride, but I think I'm going to change the tradition to Peter Pan. To me, that is the perfect first ride. It's also great for first-timers - plus you knock it out first thing in the morning and don't have to wait long.

I guess my only tradition is riding Space Mountain first.

    Let's see:

-Go on Indiana Jones first and go on it last before I leave.

-Go to Pixie Hollow in the day and go there at night when the characters are out.

-watch Fantasmic! at 10:30 (when it's on)

-Watch the fireworks from Coke Corner

-Go on a round trip on DLRR and get off at New Orleans afterwards

-Eat lunch or dinner (depending on what time I get there) at Rancho Del Zocalo

    Re: DL Traditions! :D

Some of my traditions have come and gone with time. When Parade of Dreams was still going on, we would be over at DCA to watch Play Parade, and then speedwalk our way over to Disneyland to our favorite spot of Main St. for POD. I really miss that

But the only one that sticks out for me is being in Fantasyland during the last hour the park is open. Also, if my best friend is hanging out with me, we HAVE to ride Casey Jr. together since that is our BFF ride.
