I usually form some sort of opinion beforehand on these things (in this case, a good one), but I'm going to vote will wait and see! That's rather unusual for me, since I firmly believe it's possible to have ironclad reservations about an upcoming project without knowing anything about how good the execution will be, but this is one case in which I have no concerns about the information we've got so far. Could be absolutely awesome...could be an unfortunate departure from an excellent attraction. In all likelihood, I won't even get to see it anyway.

I'm always up for something different at DLR, ESPECIALLY if it's Halloween oriented. For anyone that knows me, Halloween is one of those times of the year that is really important to me. Aside from working Halloween Haunt at Knott's, I absolutely love Halloween Time at Disneyland. I can't say I'm a huge fan of Nightmare Before Xmas overlay at the Mansion but all the Halloween decorations at the park are awesome.

I'm really looking forward to see what they're going to do with Space Mountain. It's neat to see the park do more than just the main entrance and the Haunted Mansion. I think it would be fun to see more Halloween decorations all around various parts of the park.

Why not make it a princess meet and greet? Makes as much sense...

    No it doesn't. Major hyperbole!

The ghost theme feels like a sell out and is off theme for Tomorrowland. A far better choice would have been sexy witches!
it's a sale of candy and a sale of plush, it's a sale of toys and disney stuff
there's so much that we sell, that it's time we tell, it's a plush plush sale!

Which is even more out of theme. Personally, I would've preferred a dystopian overlay. But that isn't very "Disney" now, isn't it?

Wow, I've never met anyone who didn't LOVE the Haunted Mansion Holiday. I love it and think it's amazing, now it's something to look forward to every year, and it's so great that it lasts all the way from Halloween to after New Years.

But, to each his own I suppose.

I don't think the ghosts on Space Mountain will really add much, I mean, I'm the kind of guy who spends most time on roller coasters looking at the track in front of me, and I imagine it will just be like some ghoul looking things and white sheet looking ghosts flying around the stars. Doesn't seem like it'll take away much from the ride.

I do kind of agree though that Disney should always be "Disney" and whenever they do something new it should be unique and fit into the ride and make it a different, but enjoyable experience, like they do with Haunted Mansion. But while this isn't some grand implementation like Haunted Mansion Holiday, I think it'll be kinda cool, a little something different for the holiday season.

Oh you'd be surprised to know that there are quite a few people that actually quite detest the overlay (not myself included). I actually like HMH; but back to topic.

As has been mentioned before, whose to say that ghost's wont exist in the future? WDI isnt saying "Hey so from now on ghost's are officially synonymous with the future" They're actually saying "Hey its Halloween time lets try this ghost galaxy idea for the festive occasion and hopefully everyone will have fun and find it enjoyable during the Halloween season!"

Now if the powers that be decide to create a Jonas Brothers Land or High School Musical ride (I shudder as I type those concepts) in Tomorrowland then yeah they are complete bad ideas that have absolutely no reason to be in TL or any Disney park what-so-ever. But to get all worked up over a seasonal and not permanent overlay is just silly.

This is the perfect way to bring fresh new attractions into the park without permanently damaging old classic attractions. It's new, exciting, and temporary.

A major plus is that the switchouts will only take several days.

I'm not sure how it will work ... Ghost and Jack-O-Lanterns in space? I'm willing to give it a try to see how well it's done, and if I like it.

Was not a fan of rockin'.....and missed the old 60's style soundtrack.

Not sure why this is needed? I think one ride-overlay is enough (HM). Would rather have the rest of my rides as is when I visit.
