Since it now sounds official, what do you think about the prospect of the Ghost Galaxy overlay for Space Mountain.
I myself was so disappointed in Rockin' Space Mountain.
I really don't care for The Nightmare Before Christmas overlay.
It makes me aprehensive since both will be on for my next visit to the resort.
What do you think?

I love all the overlays..so yes, I think it's a good idea.
Will it bring in enough people to recoup the cost for the overlay? That's what the bean counters are asking.

That is my guess as well. Problem is with DCA getting all the attention and funding, Disneyland has to settle for weak layovers of already great rides.
Even if you don't like the idea or not, it's all about execution that can really sell it...
No, a bad idea is a bad idea. A good idea, however, can be poorly executed.
More Halloween fun sounds good to me....it's only temporary anyways.

I didn't say if it was a bad idea it can be done well, I said if YOU didn't like the idea even if it is a good, the execution could still be good.
I guess I don't really care to find out. I've been to the park 3 times, and I hope to make it an annual trip. However, the only time of the year that I prefer to go is during the summer when the park isn't decorated for holidays and has no current overlays. I guess I don't really want to go to the park for Halloween of Christmas. The Disneyland I know is during the summer, the feeling of being out of school and enjoying the nice weather at my favorite place in the world. I guess that's my ideal Disneyland. I'll stay home for the holidays.

im not sure how a ghost galaxy really fits in with space mountain but i want to see it what its like. the rockin space mountain was pretty lame all they did was a new soundtrack and add a discoball hah if it is anything like that they should stop doing overlays.some of these promotions like the rockin rollercoaster are all hype
I think of it like I think of Rockin'... it will depend on the execution but I am not about to wait in a really long line just so I can experience it.
