Do you drink from the drinking fountains...?

I don't, for three reasons:

1. When I have in the past, the water was hot and I felt like I was drinking piss. I prefer the piss I drink to be cold.

2. A couple years back I saw a scruffy, dirty looking older man approach a fountain. You know the part that the water shoots out of? Yeah, he put the whole thing in his mouth. I mean the way he had his mouth all over it, it looked like he should have bought it dinner and drinks first. It was just gross to watch. I know they clean them, but you don't know who used it and what they did to it five minutes earlier...(muhaha).

3. I usually have my own water, anyways.

Do you drink from the drinking fountains? Might seem like a "yeah, who doesn't?" question, but I know plenty of people who don't.

haha i try not to but when water is priced like it is at disney...yeah i drink out of them i let the water run for a couple seconds before drinking hah

I use it to refill the water bottles, and yeah..its not great

I do, but only when I don't have my own water and am in line or something and and don't have time / feel like getting a free cup of ice water from a restaurant (that is what we usually do). For instance, in the Big Thunder line I would because I don't want to get out of line.

I find that the water in the fountains is often too warm, but it does not have any weird or bad tastes to it; it tastes very clear and like clean water should, not tappy from the pipes like the tap water in my house.

Disgusting is too kind of a word to describe them as!


I would rather pay three bucks for a few sips of water than drink out of a public fountain! (and I do!)

I would think (hope) what you wanted to say was, "the water was hot and felt like what I would imagine drinking pee would be like".

no, but they did have an episode on food tv where they took samples from drinking fountains and found them to be quite clean. The most germs were on water cooler handles and where the water comes out.

I do when I just want water (often) and don't feel like paying Disney prices for a bottle (always). It's not the tastiest tap water in the world, but it's a lot better than it used to be.

I drink it more than I should. I always bring a few bottles of my own each day, but they run out fast and I'll resort to the fountains until I finally give up and just pay for another water.

The water fountain next to Star Tours is cooled and has good pressure.

I do if I'm pretty much broke and can't afford a bottle of water. Or when I want to refill a water bottle I brought because I'm poor
