7/17 & 18 - 2 Cameras, 1 Weekend, and TONS O FUN!

Hi! Alright, so there a few things I would like to address before starting this:

1. This is going to be PHOTO HEAVY.
2. What I mean by two cameras is that Friday I took most of my photos using my 1970's Minolta 35mm with a 50mm lens. The other camera which I used on Saturday, I'm borrowing from Armadillo4 (He's helping me learn a Canon Rebel, so I guess you can say that he's being a mentor!
3. Most of the pictures will be of parades, but I hope you like them. I got inspiration from Armadillo4 and Donald1980, so I would like to thank them for helping me take better pictures

Soooooooo let's begin!

After picking up my friend, Ozzie, at his house, we ventured our way into the oh-so-lovely Mickey and Friends Parking Structure. Since they were repaving one of the tram stops, the lines were super long and we took a nice stroll instead to the front gates. We entered Disneyland at 8:15a.

I noticed Marty Sklar's new window at City Hall and it was so nice. And then I looked down and saw the awesome Disney Tattoo guy admiring the window. His tattoos are AMAZING. Ok, enough talking, here's some walk around photos:

Fantasyland was calling our name, so we decided to head there and ride some rides.

We went on Peter Pan, Snow White's Scary Adventure, Pinocchio's Daring Journey, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, and then we went on Casey Jr (My favorite ride of that land).

Ozzie wanted to go get some pins, so we went to Little Green Men.



Being the patient person I am, I waited for him and then we went over to DCA so I can get photos for High School Musical.

Haha they couldn't get someone from the audience to come up in time, so they used one of the performers. It was funny.

I am back! Woop woop!

Noon was fast approaching, so Ozzie and I left DCA to get to the Meet at the Hub. Not a lot of people showed up, surprisingly. I can't really remember who did, sorry.

After saying goodbye to everyone that came to the meet, dland_lover, Sir Didymus, and I went to Plaza Inn for lunch. Ozzie went to go pin trade. I got the Kids Meal since I was tight on cash and needed to survive during the day. We were sitting in there getting free refills and enjoying each other's company for about an hour. Soon dland_lover left to go meet up with other friends, and the rest of us went to Splash Mountain. Ozzie doesn't like heights so we went on without him (no picture of Sir D and I).

And now it's time to...... CELEBRATE! (Only posting my favorites from this day. Saturday's are a TON better).



















I like to watch the first stop and zoom my way to the front of the park so I could wave good-bye.



We also watched the Dedication Ceremony in Town Square, but I didn't any pictures of that because we sat by the flagpole. After that, we were soon back over to DCA so we can watch Pixar Play Parade. My brother and his friends were also in the parks, so they joined us to Play. (Again, only posted the favorites from the day... Which is only two, haha).





Since it was hot, Sir Didymus went on GRR while Ozzie and I went to Dot's Puddle Pond. Then we took pictures around Flik's Fun Fair and Bug's Land.

EDIT: And you know what's scary? We were, like, only minutes (or seconds) apart from each other that morning in Fantasyland! Because, that's almost exactly what I did!

Haha, i was wondering why the camera's looked a tad cooler than others, then I read that you were using a 35mm...

it add's that special touch to photos which digitals lose...

Alright, I am back! Time for those Electrical Parade pictures I promised. These were not taken with film since I ran out of film and Armadillo4 let me borrow his camera!

This is definitely why I love taking photos in film. The only thing I dislike is the fact that you won't know if the picture comes out until you get the photos. Other than that, it's a great (and sort of expensive) hobby.
