Re: Peter Pan's Flight - Appreciation

i love the ride as well. it's far too short!
the first time i entered the star room, it just blew my mind though.
sometimes you can see the "sticks" or wires under or above the stars, so I knew they were little fiber optic lights or LEDs or something attached to the end of wires.

Re: Peter Pan's Flight - Appreciation

I absolutely L-O-V-E Peter Pan's Flight! It's my favorite ride in fantasyland. I love the feeling of flying over the scenes, especially London (my favorite city)! I did wait once for 90 minutes to ride, yeah I know crazy, but I love the ride, and I was only at DLR for 2 days...

Funnily, I actually only saw the 1953 Disney Peter Pan movie for the first time when it was last released on a DVD special edition. Up till the DVD release, I had only seen clips of the film. As a child I did have the Peter Pan Little Golden book though...

I do however adore Peter Pan's Flight, I can’t place exactly why that is ~ I just have a great affection for it. For me it's usually the first ride I go to in the morning, especially on a Magic Morning day! Last year I was able to ride 5 times in a row before the line got too long.

I also agree that it's too short of a ride, maybe that's part of the charm. Can't wait to ride it again to see the results of the refurbishment...

Re: Peter Pan's Flight - Appreciation

Peter Pan's Flight is one of the best rides in Fantasyland. I usually go on it two times when I visit Disneyland. The longest I'll wait in line for Peter Pan's Flight would be 30-40 minutes wait.
