The Forbidden Eye celebrates his 18th Birthday at Disneyland Park!

Yesterday's birthday had two major scheduling changes which included: A morning visit to El Camino College to schedule an appointment with a counselor and leaving Disneyland earlier than expected. Even with these two changes, I had a blast at Disneyland!

I arrived around 3:10 and the first thing I did was to head on over to guest services to get my Birthday Fun Card. Going into Disneyland I headed on over to Indy which surprisingly I only went on 2 times due to the early departure. I made my usual 2 visits to Pixie Hollow and rare visits to PFF and Mickey's House.

Going into Pixie Hollow the first time, I first met Rosetta, this Rosetta I haven't met yet, she was really sweet and I liked her accent.

And then I moved on to Tink who also wished me a happy birthday.

After the first run, I went to PFF and was able to get in before the line closed at 6.

The first one I met on the trail was Mulan and she said to pose like a warrior. And for the record, I've never done this pose before.

Next up the trail was Aurora, and it was no coincedence that I just bought the movie before I went into PFF yesterday at the dvd shop on Main Street.

And at the end of the trail was Cinderella who is usually in the first part of the trail when I entered PFF the past 2 times I was there.

Then it was on to Mickey's House, the only place I go to If I want a pic with Mickey since the line is indoors and is air conditioned. Usually when I go in, the line starts at the projector room where you see the fake trailers for mickey's cartoons. But the line suprisingly was backed up and my wait to meet mickey started at the garden area. Well, at least i had my ipod with me and I just listened to Fantasmic! to past the time in line. When I entered one of the rooms to meet mickey, he was in his regular tuxedo outfit witht the sorceror's hat and background which actually made a good photo.

Coming up in the next part, I return to Pixie Hollow then I list what I used my Birthday Fun Card on and what I rode. Stay Tuned!

Hey very good report so far. I've seen both that Rosetta and Aurora before. That photo with Rosetta is kind of cool looking. What I mean is it's a little blurry but you and Rosetta are not blurry just the background. Did you get to see my report for Sunday. I finally met the third Fawn on Sunday. If not here is the link.

    Rosetta always seems so charming.

I hope you enjoy your Sleeping Beauty DVD! It's an amazing, remastered classic that I know you'll treasure like I do mine.

One last note, I love seeing the flash in Mickey's nose. Hehehehh so cute.

I watched the movie as soon as I came home, and it's really great! They did a good job on remastering one of Disney's most treasured films.

Part 2 will be coming on later on tonight.

    Part 2

I returned to Pixie Hollow around 7:50 and before I went in line, one of the CM's in front of the entrance was nice enough to snap this shot of me in front of the Pixie Hollow Sign. Things gotten cooler so it was safe put my jacket back on.

When I checked by the exit to see who was in, I saw Iridessa inside, but when I went in (not to mention I was the last guest in line), Iridessa had already switched out with Rosetta. And it was the same Rosetta from earlier. I said hello again and she said it was nice to see me again.

I then moved on to Tink who was happy to see me again.

We talked for a bit and I said good night to all at Pixie Hollow. While I was talking to a CM friend of mine on the parade route, I recieved a call from my dad telling me to call my sister. My sister was supposed to give me a ride home but plans changed so my mom had to pick me up after she left work at 10:30 . There was still time to catch Fantasmic! before I left so I went on over to my usual spot in the standing area. Now, someone mentioned that the 10:30 Fan! was stopped halfway and what I saw at the 9:00PM Fantasmic! was either not or was responsible for the issue at the 10:30. During the Dragon transformation scene, the image on the mist screen wasn't the right color and was showing the film in a tone of green. Then when the villians are being destroyed, the film was shown in a tone of blue. I looked over to the other mist screens and they were ok. Ok, likley not the reason why but thats my guess.

After Fan! I made my way out of the park and went into the World of Disney store to buy a CD. I then bought a large razmatazz at Jamba Juice then waited at the DTD parking lot until my mom picked me up and I went home.

I bought a handful of items yesterday and heres the break down:

    With Birthday Fun Card:

Sleeping Beauty DVD: $69-$24.46 (PAP discount applied) = $44.54 remaining in Fun card

Photo Frame 5x7: $44.54-$17.56 (PAP discount applied) = $26.98 remaining in Fun Card

Magic Kingdom Event Party Music CD (and yes I know the music is from WDW): $26.98- $24.45 (PAP discount applied)= $2.53 remaining in Fun Card

    With cash:

Photo of Me and Rosetta from July 4th: Paid $20
Jamba Juice: Paid $20 (forgot I had some $5's and pulled out a $20)

    Ride ridden:

    Indiana Jones: 2 times

Not the birthday trip I expected, but I did what I had planned and still had a good time!

    THE END

Sound like you had a good time. Sorry you didn't get to see Iridessa. But at less you got to Pixie Hollow in time.

Nice Indy threads. You really need to get that bag strap replaced with a leather one! Totally makes the outfit.
