Videos shot with a high speed camera

I have posted a few videos I took a while ago with the high speed record mode on my camcorder. Hope you enjoy.

Could you please explain for the layperson what the "high speed record mode" is and what model camera you were using? Is this how the video looked when imported into he computer or was it further processed? Cool videos by the way!

I do like the California Screamin one. The look of screaming people on a slow roller coaster intrigued me.

For these videos I used a Sony HC7 high definition camcorder. I took these a while ago and if I can remember the only video I slowed down further on the computer is the thunder mountain video. I found the marketing specs from the sony website regarding the high speed mode.
    Smooth Slow Record

By increasing the record rate from 60 fields per second (fps) to 240 fps for 3 seconds allowing you to capture 3 seconds of fast motion and play the video back in 12 seconds. This is great for analyzing a golf swing or a viewing a bird in flight. In addition, record an audio track to narrate what is being seen in the video.
