The Elusive Felis Disneylanis - Part 2

    I remember Miss Elusive.....

And then I ate at the Hungry Bear last night while waiting for the Fantasmic Mark Twain to go by....and she showed up!

She's looking as fluffy as ever. Yet, I've noticed she is a VERY picky eater now. She would only take meat from me. No fries, no bread..just meat. Still as friendly as ever!

I thought some MC'ers would enjoy an update on her

We always get the chicken nachos at whitewater and feed all the chicken to the cat.

IDK, but the one at whitewater did have kittens. They were very cute.

I recently just saw for the first time a big white ugly looking cat behind the hungry bear. I walked as far back as you can on the trail and saw that they have feeding stations for the cats, funny.

So nice to see they are still around, haven't been to WWS in a long time and I miss seeing the kitties. I remember the kittens, I wonder where they are now?
Mom, remember, it's not what a person is like on the outside that counts,
it's what they are like in their HEART!

There are feeding stations all over the park... Disney put them there so cats werent out in the middle of the park and only in the planters and backstage areas. Disney sees them as a good investment as the cats help keep the rat and mice population down around the park... you see alot of the cats near water due to the fact that most of the rodents in the park are near water. We would have alot of run ins with water rats at JC especially at night.

That's cool that Disney wants the cats there and that they are feeding them. But since that's the case I say they should also get as many cats as possible checked out by a vet. Since they're feeding them it's they're responsibility for the well being of the cats. Plus who wants to see a sickly looking cat at Disneyland. Does anyone know what Disney does for the cats in terms of veterinary care?

Interesting question. Does anybody else ever wish they could be a Disneyland cat?

I wish I could be a Disneyland cat! Haha
I remember a few years back we noticed kittens and a mama cat living under the train in DCA! It was the train with the ice cream place and the store, next to Soarin'. My mom brought cat treats and gave it to them before! It was pretty funny. Then everyone started gathering around and starring at the little kittens. It was pretty cool.
...After a YEAR I finally was able to figure out my password again! I'm baaack! Woohoo!(:
