Trip Report DizneyPhotoGuy Trip Report - 7.27.09 - PHOTOS GALORE!

Well, as you all may or may not know, I visit DLR at least once a week. Mainly just to hang for a couple of hours with the girl, have dinner, go on a few rides and of course, snap a few. Here you'll find proof of my adventure today. We arrived around 4:15pm. Including spotting those cats running around Disneyland.

Snapped this as I entered the park.

First thing out of the bag as we sit on the bench just outside the Main Street Train Station, I spot a plaid vest! And lookey who's with the CM. Hurley from LOST. I love that show, so I spotted him quickly. I forget his real name. Jorge something.

More from the Train Station area. We watched the lowering of the flag while we were there.

So we start walking around to see what is UP around the park.

We head over to Hungry Bear and look what we find!

After hanging with the felines, we went and rode Winnie.

Continued our walk around Critter Country.

We be gettin' hungry, so we decided to go eat at The French Market. I ordered the Beef, me girl ordered the Salmon. Very good. And we got some nice Jazzy music to help the food go down.

After dinner, we continue to walk around the area. But first asked a CM at Haunted Mansion for a death certificate. "We're out"

So we head over to Pirates. Saw this and wonder what the 50 stands for. On the wall of the soup place (Clam chowder in a bread bowl).

Saw this listed here on this site as a "hidden" gem, so I snapped it up! Walts & Roy's initials. Nice

Boarding the Pirate Boat!

Walked around New Orleans Square's shops.

Then we headed over to Tarzan's Tree house.

After the Tree House, we walk around Adventureland a little.

Now it's dessert time - so we head over to The Plaza Inn (our favorite place to eat dinner) for some Strawberry Shortcake. Mmmmm.

Yum. Now we're off to Fantasyland to take in a few Storybook rides. But before we get there, I snapped this.

We had a whale of a good time! Sorry.

Well, it's around 9pm, and it's time to head out. We take the train at the Toon Town station and head home!

I only take one to DLR and it's my Tamron 18-200mm.

Is it common for that fountain to be active on ROA? I don't think I've ever seen a fountain turned on during the day...maybe I just don't pay enough attention. I take a trip around the canoes and I don't recall ever having anything but still water.

They usually do when they test them for the show.
