I love it. The spirit of Dick Tracy's Crime Stoppers without needing to be Dick Tracy. I also love any Hollywoodland attraction that isn't centered around movies because the land needs to be more diverse than just that.

Women, they make the highs higher and the lows more frequent.
I love it personally but I don't think it needs to replace Muppets there's plenty of space (right now, to be honest I'm not totally familiar with Hollywoodland's expansion plans) without replacing an attraction in a land that doesn't have enough to begin with.
Rides of this type take up a considerable amount of space. They are huge. I don't want to see attraction counts go down and I even like Muppets, but it does need to go. Now whether they can squeeze an attraction of this magnitude and keep Muppets for another attraction is debateble, but the OP was trying to be practical in giving this an actual place to go instead of being comletely fantastical.

^What about the art place thingy where TTWC is?
My first thought was that it wouldn't fit the new 'golden age of Hollywood' theme supposedly coming in phase two, but then I realised that just about nothing in HPB does. And it is a fantastic idea, made more fantastic by the lack of a movie tie-in.
Perhaps.
But since it's most likely that the Monsters Inc.
darkride will be staying, the time period reference
no longer matters.
If anything, the only thing that will be coherent
with the 1930's time reference in the land will
be the most of the building's façades when they
are constructed.

If They Elongated the queue for Monsters they could build the showbuilding for this. in the courtyard and muppets building
Oh my goodness! I love the idea!! I think you should loose the 3D classes though. A lot of people can't see in 3D...
