Disneyland Hikes Ticket Prices on Sunday

I just don't want to feel ripped off once I'm inside the park.
OK, charge me a lot for my AP, but don't then make me feel cheated once I'm inside the berm just because I have to eat. Keep the money changers outside of my Disneyland temple.

I would call bringing in food my last laugh, but Disneyland has (so far) been pretty cool about this.

Right in time with Walt Disney World, Disneyland has also raised their own ticket prices this past weekend, jacking up the cost of an adult one day ticket to $72 and $62 for a child, a raise of $3 each.

If their wish was to cut down on the number of Premium APs, I will certainly oblige by not renewing mine. $429 is ridiculous, and is now far beyond what I feel I can afford. I will also think long and hard before renewing the passes for my family, either Socal or Deluxe. At the very least, I do believe I will let them expire and then think about it after looking at my finances.

It's obvious that TDA is thinking that the sky is the limit with the monthly pricing, and that people won't stop to actually do the math. Some suit, somewhere, came up with the theory that they can get MORE money with LESS people. Well....time will tell. Maybe they won't need my paltry $2000-$3000 a year, but I've always felt that there was a specific level that people would stop buying APs at. Between the birthday cash and the monthly payments, the numbers have swelled to over 800,000. I just have to wonder how comfortable Disney will be with 300,000 because that's what they might end up with after this insane hike.

I havent combed all eleven pages. Is the three day park hopper pass at 90 dollars for SoCal residents going to change? And to what prices?
