When July 17th is a personal "holiday" for you - somewhere between Halloween and Christmas in importance.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

You get engaged at the Snow White Wishing Well

You can predict the movement of crowds in the parks as well as an oceanographer can predict high and low tides

You bring your three week old son to the park to ride Small World

You spend $250 getting a gigantic Submarine Voyage ride poster framed to hang in your infant son's room

You spend your life savings to join the Disney Vacation Club (Beach Club)

You long for the Carnation Cafe on Main Street of the mid 90's and its Crossroads of America sandwich and Splash Mountain Sundae.

In your mind, the Christmas season and Disneyland are inseperable

    - You schedule business trips to So Cal with enough down time to go to the park.

    - You spend entirely too much on DL stuff (darn those Main Street minatures) but proudly claim that at least you got a discount!

    - You can enjoy the park alone.

...you're known to grumble "Disneyland is no place for children!"
...people ask you to bring things back "next time you go", knowing it will take less time than ordering from the Disney Catalog.

...you get to the park to find it's too crowded, eat a little fudge or churros and leave.
...groan in agony as you park in Minnie 1 J.
...you hear rumbling at the Mickey and Friends Tram stop at the esplanade and know it's the bolder crashing on Indie.
...start creating your own jokes for the Jungle Cruise
...complain that the wait is too long to get onto Tower when it's just inside the lobby.
...anxiously await the day when the Mission Tortilla Factory Tour actually makes corn tortillas.
...when you dred waiting for the security check lines when you don't have any bags.
...start to miss that burning coffee smell by DCA.

...you RUN from DCA before the Electrical Parade begins so you won't have the deal with the crush of bewildered guests leaving the park at the end.
