Because lines were too long. As a result, we got Fastpass.

It's not Knotts that's making fun... it's Knott's Scary Farm. They poke jabs at EVERYTHING. To get all offended because they are making fun of Disneyland is stupid, childish, and petty. Especially if you've never been...

Think of it. Every year (I have been to about 10 years in a row) they poke fun of the biggest topics of the year. I consider it an honor if your mentioned during the hanging! Clinton and Hilary was funny. Arnold and Grey was one of the best!!! They blended Arnold, Grey Davis and POTC togeather. "Never spill blood on the cursid treasure of Boostamante"

Now with that in mind, think of how BIG a deal Disneyland's 50th is. How COULD THEY NOT! I think it would of been insulting NOT to make fun of it! But come on. You MUST admit, an 18 month birthday party is funny

Always good for a laugh, but if your easly offended, then dont watch. Last year GW kicked some azz!

The Hanging is always the highlight of my trips to Knotts Scary Farm and this years version had me busting up throughout. I didnt mind the pokes at Disney because it most of what they said was true. And how could you not laugh at a "Superstar Limo" joke?

Re: Knott's Scary Farm RIPS on Disneyland...

why get you panties in a bunch over knotts poking fun at disney? Its no big deal..I worked the haunt for 4 years in a row back in the 80's i loved it and the Hanging..that was one of my fave things about haunt..i used to sneak out of my maze one year to see it as we were right in front of the hanging stage..(then that maze was called which ways maze)

anyways getting all heated up over something haunt has done for ever and its all in good fun..is kind of silly to me just enjoy it in the spirit that it was intended..haunt is and will always be over the top..that is what makes it fun to visit as a ticket holder and ever more fun to work as a monster!

Just for the record it was the Southern Baptists who were boycotting Disney at the time. Not all Christians hold the same political view as the SB's. I for one wanted to make a extra trip to DL when this was going on.

Are Southern Baptists Christians? Hence the reason I said "those" and not simply Christians. All southern baptist's don't think alike either...

Anyway, back on topic.... When did this thread get raised from the dead?

Sorry, I did not mean to say that all people of this groupe think the same way, just not the correct choice of words on my part.

Now back to our regular stuff:

No worries, I realize that I may have given off the connotation that I meant all Christians. I apologize for not being more precise. Welcome to the boards by the way!

This thread has been around a while but appearantly I only just got around to looking at it.

Discussion of Knott's always makes me sad because I think about that lovely lake they used to have, and how they've made it as deep as a puddle due to having 5000 coaster tracks intertwining 30 feet above it.

SoulQ -- how was the rest of the experience? You said it was "lame," but what about the scare factor and the monsters? This'll be my first year going and you know, I've sorta hyped it up for myself.
IT'S almost on!!! I"m counting the hour down! last weeks re-run almost sent me into a tail spin!!!!

Wow, they have 5000 coasters there? When I was there a few weeks ago they only had maybe 8. :-/

Re: Knott's Scary Farm RIPS on Disneyland...

I just saw The Hanging on Halloween and, boy was I giggling. I was glad there wasn't just pop culture jokes because I would've been clueless, but the Disney references - all 2000 of them - were great. I love when someone or something gets "roasted". Makes us all a bit more human.
