That bridge brings back a lot of memories! I still hang out there quite a lot!

Another thing is that the art deco design itself reminds me more of old grungy high school gyms and theaters than something more classy, (and less defined) architecturally that will withstand time (see DL's entrance gates). Finally, I just think it would be nice that each park (not counting MK parks), had their own unique front gates. But then again it's just one person's opinion ; )
Art deco not classy?! Um... Check out some good art deco architecture. Like the Oviatt Building in downtown LA...

Make that two! I absolutely agree that I much prefer if each park had its own unique entrance. DHS is my least favorite of the parks in Florida and I really hope they decide to go with another style for our new entrance and not just a copy! I don't want DCA to be DHS west coast.... the two parks already had enough in common. I would like something unique to DCA.

I have to say that is some darn good art deco architecture. LOL. I just didn't like the particular style (and color) of the art deco for the entrance. If it was more like ToT which those pictures of the Oviatt Building remind me of, I think it would look great!

So are they going to change the Mullholand madness to Goofy this fall durring the same time they redo the eating area? Because I have not heard much about the Goofy overlay recently.

MJs? ;D It's actually a nice bridge, so I'm kind of pleased with the decision to model the monorail track after it.

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker VII

Why would they wait until january to start on goofy? Wouldn't it make more sense to start this fall when that whole area will be under construction walls anyways? Or did the eating area remodel get pushed back to january as well?

Or maybe it's simply that nobody knows.

Btw, it looks like artwork to me - you're saying this is a picture of the waterfall behind Grizzly Peak??
