Attractions/elements you like that most MCers seem to dislike

Well, the title says it all! Share those attractions, elements, restaurants, anything, that you like about Disneyland that most MCers seem to hate. This isn't a thread to start arguments (hence the Fun category), just a thread to state your response to the question and why.

For me, it is the Pirates of the Caribbean updates with Jack Sparrow and the gang. The film is one of my favorite movies ever, and was a big part of me really getting interested in Disneyland. I feel like the characters are worked cohesively in with the ride and make it fun and relevant to the times.

    So, what are your thoughts?

The Winnie the Pooh ride. I think it's a cute enough time waster. When I first went on it, I had nothing to compare it to (hadn't yet seen Tokyo's), so I enjoyed it. And I still do!

edit - oh and I also enjoy DCA. Always have, always will.

DCA: most people here say the park is a failure. I think it is a great success to the teenager group, I've spent most of my group outings here. Minimal wait times because of the "failure."

Also, the year of a million dreams. I tried winning and I have succeeded many times. I played more than once...and 5 times.

Winnie the Pooh is a great diversion.

Most MCers like POTC, I hate it...it's so boring.

So yeah, but I see this thread turning into a huge debate thread. So, sound off.

In keeping with the "fun" spirit of this thread, I won't quibble over several statements that have already been made. Instead, I'll say that I really don't hate HISTA at all. It's far from my favorite attraction, but I've never understood the severe hatred that many MCers have for it. I think it's cheesy and gimmicky, but I enjoy it once every few years or so. And audiences still seem to get a kick out of it. Not exactly prime real estate, either - it's not as if it's taking up a huge area of valuable land.

I love The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Good way to waste time. :]
I also don't hate Innoventions. It's not that amazing and I really could care less if they remove it, but you have to admit- the new Dream House future thingey is pretty incredible

If they do, you're looking at Mr. Motorboat Cruise.

And I don't care who knows it!

I agree! The first time I went to Disneyland was during the summer of 2006. I had just seen Dead Man's Chest in theatres, and the new Pirates overlay had been implemented. It was the first time I went on Pirates. I never fully appreciated the ride until I went there this summer. I rode the ride 10 times, and now consider it my all-time favorite! The movies are on the top of my favorite list (All 3 of them). I never got to experience the original Pirates attraction, so that probably has something to do with it.

= DCA, Paradise Pier.. including extinct attractions like Golden Dreams and the Eureka parade.

= HISTA. Although it's a bit dated, I think it's quite fun and unique.

= Innoventions.. I don't know why, I just really like it. at least it manages to fit into the Tomorrowland theme unlike some of the newer TL attractions.

CA always thought it was a different experience kind of like walking through AK when it first opened and just thought it doesnt always have to be wait in line ride ride move to next line ride ride. In CA you can slow down and enjoy the times in between. IMHO.

Tarzan's Treehouse. On an night with a pink/purple/orange sunset, the candle light flicker of the lanterns, the sounds of the jungle, and the tribal version of "Strangers Like Me" loop playing in the background. It all equals pure Disney magic.
