Our day started at the gate at 7:30am. The lines for the turnstiles were longer than I've ever seen. We were under a little time pressure as we needed to be home by 4pm. We raced (walking briskly of course) to Space Mountain, Splash, HM, then off to POTC.
This was my first time being stuck on POTC (in this spot). We were there for about 10 minutes before they gave the all clear (I was a little disappointed, no evac).
Being stuck gave me an opportunity to play around with my old manual focus lens (1960's 55mm f1.8 Takumar), most of the shots this trip were taken with it.
We headed over to DCA.

Tender ride! As it turns out, the engineer had the same type of classic car I have so we talked the entire trip, lots of fun. He was also nice enough to let me take his picture.
We left the park at about 2pm and it seemed somewhat less crowded. We had a blast considering that we almost called it off. I like to think I'm a little faster with the manual focus after a bit of practice. It's always a good day at Disneyland. Enjoy!
