Ok,
maybe it's already been posted
(I did check)
but when did the park start charging for tomatoes.
At the Hungry Bear we were told 99¢ to have tomatoes on your burger.
You get two slices (on the side).

That's ridiculous. Tomatoes are just as much part of a burger as the bun, lettuce and ketchup. Is there some kind of tomato shortage or something?
I wonder what that means for Taste Pilots Grill where they leave burger condiments out in the open, which includes tomatoes.
Next thing you know, they'll start making meat optional.
Um...until I start seeing other places do this (Taco Bell, Burger King, etc.) I'm going to find this utterly preposterous! What next? I'm sorry, Sir, but you didn't pay the $1.99 napkin fee. NO NAPKINS FOR YOU!

That's the thing,
didn't go in
but from the window I swore I saw tomatoes still in the condiments bar.
Another strange thing at Hungry Bear. My bro isn't a passholder, but they asked him if he was...he said no, but I said I was...they allowed him to use my pass for the discount. I had to give my pass to bro so it was me giving my discount to him, not them giving him my discount (something like that...basically I couldn't hand the clerk my card..I had to hand it bro and them him hand to clerk..clerk give it back to him to give back to me)).

Here's even more reason to go to Taste Pilot's Grill or Whitewater Snacks. If all Disneyland Resort starts charging for tomatoes I'll start dining across the street at McDonald's or iHop.

WHOA WHOA WHOA!!!! That is breaking the rules!!! ONLY the person with the discount can pay! You can NOT give you discount to anyone else. If they want to have your discount, you have to pay with your cash(your bro can hand it to u beforehand) or with your credit card, IF it has your name! That is discount abuse! And trust me, I've had many angry guests yell at me because I wouldn't accept the discount unless the person with the pass paid, but rules are RULES! That is a BIG no no!
Looks like this is news to many.
Maybe it's just Hungry Bear (hopefully they change this if enough complain...then again, they raised prices and charge for names on hats....maybe this started in the same week)
You'd think they'd keep more condiments on the burgers to hide the fact that it's a frozen hockey puck that was re-cooked for us to eat. And if it is fresh meat, I don't want to know where they shop because I've never seen fresh meat look like that.

I was shocked and doubted it at first ....but I was told if same last name it was ok.
Never heard that before, but I wasn't going to fight it if someone said it was ok (and it wasn't the clerk, looked like someone in charge).
And after being charged 99¢ for a tomatoes, I def wasn't going to fight it.

Why I eat inside... outside prices are maybe 2 bucks more than Disney prices and why the hassle (security checks and getting out of the park) if only avoiding $2 increase (unless your a family of 5-10 ppl).
Last time I ate at IHOP (about 4 yrs ago) there were ants all over the booth. Told the waitress.
They moved us and then re-sat someone where we were without getting rid of the ants. Never returned. If Disney food keeps going down in quality and up in price, McD's might be the next stop (I'd prefer to avoid this)

I actually see the parks view and agree with it.
I've never been bothered when told that others can't use the pass
(however, Carnation Cafe is the different.... only one person in the party needs to show a Pass and that has been like that for as long as I remember). But if tomatoes are being charged...then I think the whole party should be able to use the pass discount.
And I've always been asked for an ID w/ Credit Card (why I like Disneyland...few places left that check ID).
I did have one person refuse to sell me something until I signed the back of the Credit Card (she didn't like the "See ID", and I had ID)

Asking for ID is actually breaking the merchant agreement with the credit card companies and could risk the merchant getting fined. Cards are also not supposed to be signed with "See ID" or left blank, the credit card companies have stated in their rules that merchants are NOT allowed to take cards that are blank or just say "See ID".
Notice on the back of your card above or below the signature spot, "Card Not Valid Unless Signed". Your credit card card is technically invalid unless you sign it. If the card is signed with a signature, as long as the signatures match then the merchant is obligated to accept it. Anything else or left blank, the merchant has every right to not accept it because the card is invalid.
Too many people are used to showing or asking for IDs and old habits die hard... but it is now against the merchant agreement and has been for years.
^So if a merchant ask to see my ID i can say no and tell her/him its against the agreement?
