Okay peeps i just find this really odd. Yesterday my friend and i got at Anaheim around 5:45pm-ish. When we were about to get to the road that leads u to the entrance of mickey and friends p-lot (u know that area where u turn left and then u stay left to park) it was blocked by a po-po and no one can enter. Anyway after making a U-wi at the p-lot for DTD the dude in the ticket thingy told us that mickey and friends p-lot is temporarily closed (of course me being an ar-tard didnt ask why lol) and that we are to park at Simba (again i am an ar-tard i dont know where this is located lol). After all the driving around and figuring out where to park friend and i decided to go back and just park at DTD. On our way back we found that the road to that leads u to entrance to mickey and friends p-lot re-opened so we went in. When we entered the p-lot we saw that some cars are parked in area where u get inline to get the parking ticket thingy, basically they blocked off half of the entrace so people can park there. Anyway when we get in the parking ticket booth we received free parking (neither of us have the Parking added in our pass- so we save $12 lol).

Soooo....I guess my question is: does anyone of you wonderful people know why the mickey and friends p-lot was temporarily closed?

Huge crowds means lots of cars. The p-lot was probably closed for one of two reasons:

1. it was completely filled and they had to check how many spots they had available before re-opening it.

2. they knew there were big crowds and closed it off before filling completely for the expected crowds coming in after work.

I got there at exactly the same time, and the police were blocking me, too. First time I have EVER seen that. But I just went on to Simba without asking questions and parked and walked in from there.

We got there yesterday at about 10am and Donald level was already filling up. We left about 7 and I didn't notice the garage being blocked off by police but it was DEFINITELY busy yesterday.

Space & Soarin' both out of FP at 6pm.

When we checked space FP at about 10:30am it was already 5pm return...

Splash was 2 hour standby most the day.
