i think dated as far as the puppetry, but that could be a good thing. Maybe some of these younger kids can see a sci-fi space adventure without it being completely digital and 'plastic' looking. I'm looking forward to it coming back. Who's heading out to the land in jan?
exactly what i was thinking, everything disney is to digital these days, i would like to see more puppetry these days, its more kid like to me and imagination
I never got to see Captain EO. My parents and older sisters saw it once in the early 90's and my sisters were terrified and they all decided to never see it again because we are more into rides then shows. In October I will drag my parents to see it if I have to and my memory will be my mom throwing a fit about not wanting to see a cheesy, dumb show while she could be riding something fun like Splash Mountain (hahaha!) and I'll be saying,"Too bad! It's only here for a month and then you never ever have to see it again!" and then when it's over I'll say how cheesy it was, but cool at the same time because I got to see a retired Disney attraction....
...After a YEAR I finally was able to figure out my password again! I'm baaack! Woohoo!(: Disney is my life <3 Thank Walt for all he did! <3 Future Imagineer <3 Keep Disney the way Walt intended it!!
I'm so excited! Though I really want to know how long it will be staying... Or maybe they'll keep it until they put something completely new over (ie not put HISTA back in. Seems weird to renovate and then renovate back). But yeah. Does anyone know how long Captain EO will be there for?
