Unless these fires burn through the city, no. It won't affect Disneyland.

I know that disneyland won't shut down, i just want to know if you can smell the smoke? I ask this because my eyes are very sensitive to smoke and they get real red.

My allergies have been pretty bad due to the smoke in the air and so there's a chance it may affect you while you're there.

there hasn't been much of a wind so i do not think that the smoke is moving anywhere near the resort.

One of the fires is about 70 miles east of Anaheim and others are far north from the area. Most fo the smoke is being contained in the San Fernando valley and parts of northern San Gabriel valley. The one east of Anaheim is east of Hemet near the coachalla valley

Is there anyone whos been to disneyland in the last 24 hours that can tell me if there is smoke in the air? I used to live in san diego and they had a fire miles away and you could still smell the fire and smoke in the air for days on end. Thanks for any help you can give.

You can barely detect it this far south, and only if you are very, very sensitive.

No smoke or ash in Anaheim.
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.

I'm a bit North of the park, closer to a couple of the fires, and there is presently no smoke. I don't think any of the current fires are close enough to Dland to send smoke our way. Most of it is in the San Gabriel Valley, if not more back towards the mountains.

Now if you want to talk about HEAT, have fun on Monday! God bless all who were brave enough to handle the 100 plus heat out there yesterday. Today will be well into the 90's and they are calling for low 90's on Monday.

Cool Re: Will fires in L.A effect disneyland at all?

I live 10 min. from Disneyland. You can barely tell that there are fires. You can only see smoke, but if you don't pay attention to it, it just looks like clouds.

I was planning on taking DIP Jr to the parks this weekend. But it's so hot forget it! I think we'll go swimming instead.

Last time we had a heat wave all of my flowers died.

Now my new buds are struggling to survive. Infact they are already wilting and it's not like I don't water them

    Ugh...I hate this.

Oops! Sorry back to the topic.

I'm sure you'll be fine at Disneyland. It's not like it's october of 2007. Now THAT was bad.
