The Forbidden Eye's Labor Day Trip 9/6/09

The day started around 10AM when i arrived. There was heavy traffic exiting the 5 south so my parents dropped me off at the 15 minute lot on Harbor. Going in, my first thing to do was to go to IJA when it just reopened. After that, I went on over to BTMRR to grab an FP for it. Walking around I decided to go to Pixie Hollow for the first round since I would be spending the lunch period with the MC group. The line wasn't bad. I waited for at least 15-20 minutes for it. Took some pics in line while I was waiting.





Whatever that blue thing was, it made a nice Hidden Mickey!



When it was my turn to go in, the first fairy inside was Fawn. It was the first time meeting this Fawn.



Then I went to Tinkerbell, and this Tink is one of my favorites.

That Hidden Mickey looks to be a piece of Mickey-shaped confetti that had blown over from Celebrate! A Street Party.

So far a good start. I've meet both of those fairies before. Funny thing is both of them are my 3rd favorite fairies that both of them know me. What I mean of the third is I have 3 favorite Fawn's and 3 favorite Tinkerbell's but of chourse one of the Fawn I like is no longer working there so sad.

MiceChat Meet Write Up

I arrived at the Hub around Noon to find some Mc'ers already there. The MC'ers I was familiar with were Dusty, Fishbulb, and DIP. I had the pleasure of meeting Lost Boy who told great stories during lunch.

When it came to decide where to eat for lunch, we decided to try out Lucky Fortune Cookery that returned to Pacific Wharf after many years of being closed (yay chinese food!). I had the Chicken Bowl (ahem, take-out box) with Spicy Korean BBQ Sauce with a large Iced Tea. The food there was actually very good! The Korean Sauce may be spicy at first but you'll get used to it after a few bites. The Chicken and Rice were also excellent. I look foward to eating there again during my next visit. I give Lucky Fortune 5 out of 5 Stars!

While we were eating (Me, DIP and Lost Boy were at our own table), Thrax and TikiRoom Liz joined us with Liz on the wheelchair (she had an issue with her hip. Get Well Soon with that!). Along with another person who's name I forgot. After we were done, Lost Boy took off and the rest of our mini-MC group went on to It's Tough to Be a Bug!. After that we went to HPB to ride Monsters INC. We then park-hopped to DL where we went on to Jungle Cruise then BTMRR, then made a pit stop to First Aid so TikiRoomLiz can get an Ice Pack. While we were waiting for Celebrate! a Street Party (EWWWWWW!) to pass on, I bought a photo from my last trip at the photo shop. We then moved on to Tomorrowland to ride Autopia and then went to Toontown to ride Roger Rabbit. After that, my time with the group had to end because I wanted to go to Pixie Hollow before it closed at 5PM.

After leaving the group, I hurried on over to Pixie Hollow and just got in 10 minutes before closing. As I was taking some afternoon shots the line closed at 5PM and surpisingly, I was the last one in line again! (groups that went in after I entered the area went past me.)

This Fawn statue needs to be cleaned up.

I went on Indy last night and the ride stopped right in front of the snake.
We were on the ride with the lights on for 15 minutes. Then the ride started again with the lights on for a couple of seconds then it got dark again. We were able to go again.

Awesome report! Love all the pictures of Pixie Hollow..I have yet to actually go inside so I've never seen the queue. (Spiffy Indy outfit, btw.)
