LOL... that is SO true!! It will be interesting to see how they make him fit in...

Earlier ideas featured more explicit stories, but the actual attraction never had much that was set in stone until Constance arrived on the scene.
Yep... that is what I heard somewhere on one of my husband's Disneyland DVD's, and that is what I had always thought too until I saw the new Constance... Now I don't know what to think!!

Then the hatbox ghost was a ghost who was removed shortly after the attraction opened in 1969 because the gag wasn't working quite right. His head was supposed to periodically disappear from his shoulders and appear in the hatbox he was holding, and vice versa. Now he's ostensibly coming back, using 21st-century technology to make the effect convincing, and he'll presumably play the role of Constance's most recent husband.

Ohh that's interesting I like the old one too that involved the phantom, where she was supposed to wed and the phantom (her father I believe?) did not approve, so he hung him from the rafters, and the whole point of the ride was trying to get the guests out of the mansion and away from the phantom. Which explains the floating candelabra and etc, disney is so creative, whichever storyline they follow i'm sure it'll be great
