Do know who Elvis is? Talk about cash in on a dead celebrity. Besides Disney owns the rights to that film and it belongs to them and they can do whatever they want with it. If Disney can make more money on and the fans want to see it. ( I know I will) I don't see it as cash in.

Graceland was not a cash in it was a tribute to Elvis that people have to pay to see...

...wow suddenly those supporting EO realize how odd their statement sounds. If Elvis' own house can be considered a "cash in" and not a tribute to his life... a house he actually lived in... then a 30 minute music video isn't even close to being a tribute.

Let's be honest, they're both cash-ins. The difference is that one is about Elvis' life, the other is a 30min Michael Jackson video done in the 1980's.

what? capitalize on this trend to make a quick buck? never ever..but on a side note to all those who have made a comparison between mj as eo and pee wee as the voice of rex...people listen more with their eyes befor their ears...mj automaticly gets a response..mostly negative..rex..you hear the voice.. but dont see mr rubins..theres a big big diffrence

The rights to the film are co owned I'm not sure Epic and Disney due to the songs. We are here to change the World was never released on CD but Another Part of Men can be found on Bad album so the rights of the film will between Jackson and Disney I believe ....

Lately there are many Jackson and Disney Fans that want this attraction back. The attraction it self was huge back in the day. Now this rebirth of Captain Eo might be treated as a tribute of of the biggest entertainers of all time. Lets face it who has gone to Disneyland where you are finding tons of park guests with MJ ****s. Heck on labor day I saw a huge crowd with fan made Captain Eo shirts. Disney right now is in damage control mode they want to bring it back but with a more modern look. I do believe that Captain Eo will make its reapperance but It will totaly remaster in HD quality. Many upgrades will take place and Disney has been known be secrtive to brings plans like this quiet.

Sorry, but that's a cop out for hypocrisy. If you don't want Captain EO back because of a star's personal life, then you have to hold all attractions to that standard.
