F! usually plays during the holiday season.
I know when we have taken ppl, we sit and wait so they can see it
and we only go during the week during the holidays (I say no thank you to weekend crowds during the holidays)
about the Columbia
If it's down for refurb, most I would guess it wouldn't be in the show (but ask a CM 'cause I could be very much in the wrong)....I"ve noticed if the Mark Twain is down for refurb, I don't think I saw it in the ending of the show....but the Columbia is a important part of the show, so hopefully I am wrong.
If the Columbia is down for refurb, then the show will NOT be presented. The have an alternate for the Mark Twain if it's down for refurb but not if the Columbia is in refurb.
Here is the entertainment schedule for Monday the 12th. It shows the 2 showings of Fantasmic along with the Columbia being down for refurb? Maybe it won't be running for guests but still be able to run in Fantasmic? Has that ever happened?

When I did the reserved seating on my last visit (birthday present from sister), we had plenty of time after the end of the fireworks to get to the seating area. Do make sure to get to check in no later than 7:30; we were there around 7:15 and still had roughly a dozen people ahead of us.
