10/6 Trip Report (October 3rd - 10th)

[10/6]

So we met up with friends to caravan down Saturday morning. They loaded up my truck *OOF* and we were off. We drove several hours through the desert.



We stopped in Vegas to see a few friends play. Being a DJ has it's perks. We found ourselves on several guest lists.



The monorail proves to be a good place to show off our pole dancing skills. Dating a Pole Fitness Instructor has it's perks too!



Our view from our Hotel. After nursing a slight hangover we were on the road again.



Our trip wasn't all for play. We are staying in a house our friend owns and were there to repaint.



We had a meeting as soon as we arrived in Oceanside to discuss the weeks plan.



During the meeting we set up the turntables and played a little music.



A BBQ ensued! Fun was had!



The house is right on the water. It's just out of the shot in this ^^^ photo.



We all brought our boards and spent a lot of time in the water. This young seal kept stealing the bait from the fishermen.



We're about 1/4 down the Strand. So we ate at Ruby's quite often. I'm not terribly brave and didn't stray from my ususal.



Painting the house started Wed and was done by Thursday afternoon.



GF and I were in charge of the upstairs bedrooms. I thought we did the best job!



This is Will. We kept babynapping him from his parents to take him to the beach.



He would probably swim all the way to HKDL if we let him. He freaking LOVES the water.



We made it to Disneyland Friday morning. We all wanting to wait until every ride possible would be open. And we're glad we did.

PART 2 - I apologize for the wait...



Our first time seeing DL in the fall.



Of course our first ride of the day.



Baby Will was just laughing at all the ghosts. What a tough little dude.







Then off to the rider swap on Splash. Winnie the Pooh while we wait!









When we arrived Indy was down. It was the first day Indy opened after the small down time.



We were on of the first groups to see the new AA. A VERY PLEASENT surprise.

PART 3



Having Will with us was a lot of fun.



He wanted to ride everything we wanted. You couldn't ask for a better 1year old to ride with.









"Will! What does the kitty say?" Will's responce was a very loud growl... interupted our Skipper's speil. Very funny.







I LOVE how beautiful Adventureland is. Sure doesn't get enough attention.





The Restrooms by Tiki were closed, so it was off too the next closest. (... I know there are restrooms @ Tiki but the group didn't care to stop their yet... *POUT*)





Gotta say... Ghost Galaxy? NOT A FAN! Can't wait until it's gone.



Agree'd that it's way too bright. Screens were poorly projected. (edges were very apparent) The music was really boring, and didn't match the ride what-so-ever. The story was never explained. The character (Ghost Galaxy) was see SO much that nothing about it was scary... very inconsistant too.



The BEST PART were the projections outside on the dome.



To wipe that awful experiance from our memory a quick shaky ride down the Matterhorn.



Then over to Frontierland. Very pleased with the pumpkins this year. I saw a lot of them last year on line and was very happy to see them in person.



We couldn't find the turtle. Any help?

PART 4









I'm always happy with how pretty BTMR is.













It's THE wildest ride in the wilderness. It's the WILDEST ride in the wilderness. It's the wildest RIDE in the wilderness. It's the wildest ride IN the wilderness.... etc etc.









Looking for lizards... with ladders.





After splitting with the group we all met at SBC to pick up Will and take him where everyone dreds.









A quick stop at Toad Hall.

Everyone is so thrilled to come back from hell.

PART 5



We took Will over to "it's a small world!" We really enjoy it and our group was happy to get away with not riding. Their loss.







We took the train around to Tomorrowland as Will fell asleep. We had FP's for Space (that I almost gave away GG was so bad) that we needed to use.



The first half of the group rode while I took Sleeping Will into Innoventions. That kid could sleep through an earthquake. Jeez!



Off too NEMO!



Then "it's a small world!" since Will's dad left the stroller there. (Will doesn't like it anyways)



Wow! we just walked around the park for a while waiting for everyone to gather for Fireworks.



A great ride on HMH just before F!. Our DB stopped just before Oogie.







On our way out of the park we stopped by Tink's house. We had never seen this before but have been several times since it opened.





We made it home late. Crashed then prepaired for a long drive home.
