What is that conduit for that has been attached to the green beam? I don't remember seeing that before. Are they going to add lights to the beam?

Yes, sleepers with planks on top would make the most sense.

I looked at the full resolution of that picture, yes the red is masking tape and they are actually laying a row of small tiles at the toe of each step.

    Very nice detail.

I think the conduit on the beam is for lighting on the pathways. There was a photo a while back showing a set of stairs at night, and the handrails on either side had white lights beneath, illuminating the steps.

Paradise Park is the WoC viewing area. He was not talking about the pier in general.

He means the construction on the viewing area is nearing completion.

And yes, there are some scenic shots I will edit out from the Cleveland National Forest on Christmas Day at the start of the album.... But isn't Lake Elsinore beautiful!)...

Look, if you are checking this thread out on Wednesday morning, you could have NO shots of DCA, or a few shots of Lake Elsinore, and then the latest photos from the park. (I sleep, photos get placed on Smugmug).

And yes, the photos do get edited, but my "usual" style, upload first, then edit....
Looking at your last few pics, are guests finally parking in K-Lot (Cast Member Parking)?

Is that where the Buzz Lightyear lot is?
Took mom to Disneyland for the first time in over 20 years this week! Woo!

Actually, it is the Pongo Lot, which is used sometimes by guests, and sometimes for CM Parking.

Basically the Coach Buses in the evening leave the Shuttle Loading area at Disneyland, then goes South down Harbor past Katella Ave, and makes a left at Convention Way. It then stops in the Buzz Lightyear Lot and drops off some passengers. It then exits to the east on a road that is used for access to Pongo when Disney is parking guest there. The road makes a left turn and heads North to Pongo. After dropping off the remaining passengers, it keeps going north and exits the Katella CM Lot onto Katella.

Note, the first few photos is taken next to Buzz Lightyear (the new lot getting some of the outer berm landscaping).

Why? If they are delaying the start of the main entrance again, why start now on the Hollywood Blvd. portion. Sometimes they do things that just don't make any sense.

To spread out resources and time. Also, I would think the tracks would be a relatively quick install, so getting those done and the walls down before starting on the entrance creates less of an impact.
